Legal plates

May 11th, 2009 by admin

number plates are designed to match up to specific criteria of clarity regarding readability by eye or electronic equipment at any time or in any visibility day or night. Number plates must not be altered in any way and must not be covered in anything that makes them illegible – that includes dirt or mud.  You may not use any other number plates other than those registered for your vehicle, unless you apply for a vanity or cherished number plate from the DVLA.  All paperwork must be completed before you use your new number plates, otherwise you will be committing an offence.
