Bankruptcy Harassment

When you find yourself in debt to the point where you are considering filing for bankruptcy or trying to remove a bankruptcy, chances are you have been receiving demanding phone calls from your creditors for some time. Filing for bankruptcy will make the calls stop, and protect you from the stress of dealing with them. Once you file for bankruptcy, your creditors will be notified; once they’ve been notified, they are no longer allowed to call your home asking for money. If they continue to call you, you can pursue legal action against them. If a creditor calls after the bankruptcy has been filed, inform them that you are aware of your rights and that legally they must stop calling you or face the consequences.
