Commentary On “Meg Whitman Back in Spotlight at H”

I think HP needs a new board. The current board thrives advice on relationships drama. Look at their track record. They have to develop a plan that a CEO down to the janitor can follow and be measured against. They have to define a target that all employees can buy into with great enthusiasm. Blaming the CEO for HPs problems is a joke, no matter who is CEO. A single man or woman can only do some much to improve HPs performance. They need to focus on training their sales people on how to sell like they did back in the 80s and 90s. Most of their sale people have not had any sales training on how to build relationships with customers. That kind of training faded away during the dotcom boom.
