When I get to build my house

I need to get out and learn as much as I can about building a green house so I will know what is going on when I find the money to build. Some people have told me to take the leed certification class so I will know the latest building codes and ideas. I just want to have a more environmentally responsible home in the future. I like the idea of solar power being responsible for my hot water. I also want to have a foot in the door of a new career someday. There will always be a construction trade.
