I am trying to decide whether I should go with a generic brand of stain like I used on the deck last time or if I should get this Defy stain stuff that my cousin was talking about. He said he could get a deal on it, but it would still cost more than just the kind from my local hardware store. I thought the deck looked fine last time even though I used that kind. You’re right, I have to admit I am growing old. Once you hit fifty, the energy of youth is gone. I still do tasks around the house though. I want to get a self-propelled lawn mower. The most horrible thing happened to me last week. I’m writing this in hopes that someone will read it and it may save your cat’s life!

My son took our cat out for a walk and put on the cat harness . We always haave used this harness and never had any trouble with it. However when my son got home, he had to rush off to soccer practice and so we left the cat at home with the harness still on.

When we got home, our cat was dead.

He had gotten the harness twisted around the stair banister and his neck until he stragles himself.

Cat should never be left with a harness on! Had I ever read of anything like this happening I never would have left it on him!
