TV and Your Fitness Plan

Who doesn’t like to eat snacks while they watch TV? It goes together like taco chips and salsa. Eating in front of the TV may seem like a good way to relax after a stressful day, but poor snacks will often put more stress on your body, and it will make you fat.
Instead of snacking, put that TV time to work. After watching 1/2 hour of TV, get out some hand weights and do some sit-ups, curls, squats, or whatever exercise you like. I assure you, if you do this while you watch the next program, you won’t miss a thing. Add a good diet to your fitness plan and you will be miles ahead instead of losing ground with your health. You may even find yourself eating a nutritious mini-meal while you watch the next show.
