Where are the good games?

I am trying to figure out which wii games would be the best for a 13 year old boy child. He is really smart and a bit of a sci-fi nerd. Thanks to his parents for that. But anyway the kid loves to play on the wii and I want to get him a really good game for Christmas. Someone suggested I look at the wii media downloads review list and see what they might have. I will have to do that soon so I can get a good idea of what he might like now and not on Christmas Eve.
