Last year, my wife and I went on a very luxurious and self-pampering Jewish travel opportunity to one of the world’s most expensive five-star hotels. It was fun and all. I was relaxed by all the spa treatments I received. But they made me feel so much of a god that I felt so guilty. There are, in fact, so many people dying of hunger out there. Next year, my wife and I plan to go to an exotic third world country for our next Jewish travel experience. I don’t know if we would be able to extend any financial help to the poor in the region, but we’ll definitely give it a try.
